EAW Redline Series RL15 is a 2-way, self-powered loudspeaker well suited for concerts, corporate AV, portable entertainment, mobile DJs, houses of worship, halls, theaters, auditoriums, and schools. The RL15 utilizes the EAW Focusing processing to deliver an accurate impulse response, while the DynO algorithms optimize the power transfer from amplifiers to transducers for improved headroom, ensuring the loudspeaker delivers the same sound at any volume level.
The on-board 1250W, bi-amplified, Class-D amplifier delivers 1000W to the 15″ woofer and 250W to the 1″ high-frequency compression driver, which combine for a frequency range of 50 Hz to 19 kHz and a peak SPL of 135 dB. The enclosure is constructed from exterior-grade plywood and coated with the weather-resistant textured RoadCoat and finished with a perforated, powder-coated steel grille. The trapezoidal shape, along with the rotatable horn, allow the RL15 to be used as floor monitors.
